Always wash new linen before using
it - the wash symbols to be found
on the packaging and on the sew-in
label will indicate cycles and temperatures
to be used.
Use gentle detergents and avoid
any washing powders with whitening
agents so as to protect the colours
of your linen.
NOTE: Do not wash immediately at
the highest temperature indicated
on the label. Start at a low temperature
and work up to the maximum temperature
(60° or 90°) gradually in
order to avoid excessive shrinkage.
Do not mix lights and darks in
the same wash to avoid colour bleed
and, above all, do not overload
your machine since you will not
get the best results from your detergent
and your linen will crease excessively.
As soon as the machine cycle has
finished, remove linen. Shake it
and pull it out minimising further
creasing.
